In the beginning of November my editor came to me a and told she would like me to come up with a photo story to go along with our coverage of the 1 year anniversary of the Mott Children's Hospital new building. I was given the opportunity to photograph an open heart surgery of a four month old. This was truly an amazing thing to see with my own two eyes. I never thought i would find my self wearing scrubs in an OR armed with my 2 cameras. The lighting in an OR is truly amazing and leads to very dramatic looking images.
